Being stuck without a car is a real inconvenience – not only for you personally, but for your business. If your company car, or any car in your fleet, is stolen or has to be repaired after an accident, the period in which you’re left without it could seriously affect your day-to-day operations.

 

Our new benefit will make sure that your business doesn’t come to a grinding halt.

 

This optional benefit, called Loss of Use, is available to numerous business types (listed below). You can add it to your policy at any time and it will apply to all valid claims.

 

How it works

 

Budget’s Loss of Use cover is a cash option that you can pay a premium for to get money per day, while you’re without a business car. The benefit is perfect for business types that are not offered a car hire option, like:

 

  • Shuttle services
  • Metered taxi companies
  • Security companies
  • Professional tour operators
  • Professional tour guides
  • Driving schools
  • Long-haul trucking companies

 

And now, we’ve added a bunch of other business types to those that can enjoy the freedom and convenience of the Loss of Use cover. They include:

 

  • Funeral parlours
  • Delivery services, including motor bike deliveries
  • Removal companies

 

These new business types will be included in the offering from 8 November 2020.
