Budget gives small businesses a R6 million boost

Knowing the impact that COVID-19 has had on the small businesses we insure, we opened our hearts and pockets, providing sixty small businesses with R100 000 each in relief. Here’s how it worked.

 

Between 30 June and 12 July 2020, we welcomed all Budget Business Insurance customers to apply for a relief package. Everyone was welcome – from hairdressers and handymen to plumbers and nail salons.

 

We wanted to hear about their experiences in COVID-19, how their businesses had been affected and how a relief package would assist them in driving their small business forward.

 

We received an overwhelming response – and it was our honour to give away the R6 million in relief packages to 60 worthy applicants. We trust that this investment will go a long way in securing their business success in the present and future.
